
Mingardo Beach
Surrounded to the north by a pine forest and to the south by sand dunes, the long beach of the Mingardo is located between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota and is much loved by people from Cilento. To distinguish it is the fine white sand, which meets a cobalt blue sea between the foam. A unique show set up by Mother Nature.

In the vicinity of Sant’Angelo a Fasanella, a territory already known for the Antece, among the numerous references to a nature of great beauty, there are the watrfalls of the river Auso.

It can be reached from Grottadaspide to the north or from Vallo della Lucania to the south.

The number and importance of constraints are indicative of the value of the environment to be protected. It is a Site of Community Interest, a Special Protection Area, a wetland of international interest according to the Ramsar Convention and is part of the largest natural reserve at the mouth of the Sele-Tanagro.

It is like entering and delving into an unexpected Eden, where amazement accompanies every step. Far away from the noises of everyday life, it is a muffled silence that welcomes you into the calm bosom of the forest.

It is the kingdom of the gray wolf, so much so that it even deserves the name of Oasi del Lupo. And it is identified with a Site of Community Interest and with a Special Protection Area, to underline the extraordinary naturalistic value of Monte Polveracchio, which reaches 1792 metres.
